Size 4-6cm. A lovely plant in both leaf and pitcher, Nepenthes clipeata has pitchers of an attractive creamy colouration and flask-like form. The leaves are unusual in being one of the few species to exhibit peltate tendril attachment which creates a notable dip in the heat-shaped succulent leaves. A lowland plant, this species can tolerate intermediate conditions.
